Whether you require a Home Information Pack (HIP) or a stand-alone Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), a site visit will be arranged to suit the client. Prior to the visit you will be sent a Property Questionnaire to complete, then one of our Assessors will travel to your property. The inspection should take around half an hour and will cause the minimum of inconvenience. The only significant factor to be aware of is that our Assessor will need access to the loft space and your boiler.
A stand-alone EPC can be completed 24 – 36 hours after home visit. An initial HIP will be available for marketing purposes approximately 36-48 hours after home visit. The completed HIP will be made available after completion of all searches of the property.
The resulting Energy Performance Certificate issued to you will provide you with clear information on the energy performance of the property and cost effective means for improvement. The results of the visit are recommendations for your consideration or for the future owner to consider.
